Service Area Intranets

The Service Area Intranet project was a part of a broader communications effort to provide a consistent intranet template for all of the Northern California Kaiser Permanente medical centers. These intranets serve as a hub for local service area news, a portal for online tools, resources, policies, and department directories.

All of the intranet sites were dated, built with static html, and were difficult to update. After conducting stakeholder interviews and reader surveys we able come up with requirements to produce templated sites on built on WordPress. The resulting sites are on brand, visually consistent, provide the needed online tools and are easy for the site owners to manage and update.
